January - Amanda confirms new investment.
Amanda Foods Group (AFG) is pleased to announce the management team of Joseph Rifkin (CEO) and Paul Andriesz (Executive director) and PCA International Funds Vietnam Segregated Portfolio (Prudential), a fund managed by Prudential Asset Management Singapore, has acquired ownership and control of the Amanda Foods Group.

This new partnership will enable AFG to continue to expand its business and build upon the last 17 years of successful production and supply of quality seafood products from Vietnam.

Prudential's involvement provides significant financial strength to AFG and its investment in the supply base and operations will allow AFG to continue to lead the way in seafood supply from Vietnam, with continued focus on safe, sustainable and consistent supply of quality seafood products.

AFG remains committed to the highest levels of food safety and will continue to build upon its strong relationships with International leading branded customers, supplying a range of seafood from its own production facility, as well as its long term partners throughout Vietnam and Asia.

Amanda Foods were delighted to be the first Factory in Asia to be awarded the ACC accreditation. -This confirms the commitment Amanda Foods has to working to ensure the sustainability of our industry and to support all stages of the supply chain and ensure the best practices are taken to provide a finished product that has gone through a controlled process from hatchery to plate. Amanda will continue to widen the ACC approval into the farms and hatchery's in Vietnam and are committed to an ongoing program to do this.
